Brenan & Trevor | Tucson, Arizona Desert Date Night Engagement session

They danced in the shade of the saguaros. They kissed underneath sunset painted skies. They clinked their glasses to celebrate, then they danced and kissed and danced some more. *Modern day magic*

Two weeks before Brenan and Trevor's wedding, I invited them to come meet me in the desert to watch the sun set in the gorgeous Saguaro National Park, then stop by Augustin Kitchen for some drinks and appetizers. I dubbed this their “last fling before the ring” and they SHOWED UP!! This fabulous couple is not only so good together in real life and in front of the camera, but they are two of the kindest people I’ve had the honor of working with. Brenan is an absolute icon and always looks this incredible. I swear, she is a real life barbie doll. These two have been together since they were just teens and their love, commitment and respect for each other is abundant, plus they are super fun to be around and their joy is contagious. Alexis Grace Florals provided that dreamy white bouquet and it was the cherry on top.

I had an absolute blast at this session and pushed myself creatively to get outside of my comfort zone. In playing with light and focus, I think we made magic and I’m so happy with these photos! There are so many more to show, but these are some of my favorites - lots of blurred moments, movement and bright beautiful light.

Whether you plan a picnic, or grab drinks at your favorite spot or bring your car, choose something that reflects your favorite things to do together and your photos will be so much more memorable because of it.
